We’ve all felt this way at times, but the good news is that we DO NOT have to remain there. Guests might not pay attention to the elaborate centerpiece selections or customized program booklets, but they definitely won’t forget if their food was delivered cold, late, and oversalted! That’s why as planners, it’s so important to take the time to educate clients on the importance of investing in an exceptional catering experience!

Securing clients and projects at the start of the Securing clients and projects at the start of the year is on every business owner's mind. Simply put, clients are the ones who keep the business going. That’s why engaging with clients is a "must" to have a prosperous business. Get ahead of the game in this new year by checking out a few of our tips and tricks to better engage with customers!
 
1.	Inform clients of any new projects or services. The beginning of the year is the perfect time to share with clients all the new things happening in your business. Are you offering a new product or service? Do you have a new promotional video that you want to share? Maybe, you have a new staff member! Either way, do your best to share whatever is new with all your old, new, and potential clients. 

2.	Remind clients of what you do best. Send them a text or email, or give them a quick call to refresh their memories! Many clients and businesses are beginning to plan out their year. Use this opportunity to remind them that you are here and here to help! 

3.	Remind them of any projects you did in the past or that you would like to do with them. Don’t be afraid to take a walk down memory lane with your clients. Use this opportunity to thank clients for past projects and remind them of the top moments from previous events. 

4.	Try to schedule a meeting with your clients online or in person. Whether a long-time client or a new and potential client, search through your database and reach out! Use the opportunity to discuss tips 1-3 with them. You will be pleasantly surprised at how willing and excited clients will be to meet with you.

On this National Day of Service, let us emulate the lessons of servitude, gratitude, and selflessness as demonstrated in the life of the great Dr. King.
